TU/e LIS Charity week - sushi & spinning for better brains
The Library and Information Services (LIS) department of the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) organizes the LIS charity week from 27 March until 2 April 2023.
Our goal? Get together for a good cause. Donations go to the Dutch Brain Foundation (hersenstichting).
What? Sign up for a fun sporty spinning class or learn how to make the best savory sushi dishes. Your contribution is donated to the Brain Foundation (hersenstichting).
For who? All LIS employees at TU/e can sign up for a spinning class or a sushi making workshop. They have received a link to sign up by e-mail. Everyone else is free to donate.
Why? At TU/e, we know how important a well-functioning brain is. At our department LIS, we have some bright brains working on providing our community the best, safe and secure information technologies, education and research environments and a well-stocked (digital and on-campus) library to feed the brains of our employees and students.
Brains are the seat of intelligence, and a healthy brain is the foundation for longevity, development and happiness. The Brain Foundation uses its donations to conduct research on the brain, support innovations, and increase awareness on the relevance of having a healthy brain. What better charity to contribute to?
